Located in TaiKoo Place, Butterfield's was created by Swire Properties to cater to the needs of the burgeoning business community in Island East .The name and concept of Butterfield's pay tribute to the 120 years of history of the area, which began with the Taikoo Sugar Refinery in 1883 developed by Butterfield & Swire, which later became John Swire and Sons. The dining rooms, art collection and artifacts in the Club recreates the fictitious life of Mr Butterfield.
